John A. Beck

It has been called the greatest battle never fought.  Seven hundred years before Christ’s birth, as Jewish residents holed up behind the walls of Jerusalem, soldiers of the mighty Assyrian army marched toward the city walls.  They threatened to destroy not only the kingdom, but the Davidic line of kings through whom the promised Messiah would come.
