As a biblical geographer, I study the physical geography, human geography, and natural history of the biblical world. While such study of the world has value on its own, my goal is to take what I have learned about Bible places and apply that to my reading and interpretation of this sacred book. I explore how geography impacts the evolving story of the Bible and the ways in which the geography mentioned in the Bible impacts me as a reader.
